David
Rubin is a Montreal born singer songwriter
with a distinct velvety voice, capable of singing
songs in any musical genre.
David’s father was a singer in big band The Heat Waves and so
impressive that Cab Calloway asked him to join him on tour.
Citing
influences from Frank Sinatra, Roy Orbison,
Marty Robbins to the Rolling Stones and the Clash, David excels in many musical
genres.
As a child, David was already entertaining audiences on
Screen Gems Little People hosted by Jack Barry, quiz show host of
Twenty One, as told in the movie Quiz Show.
As
a teenager David abandoned the spotlight, attended
high school and worked at various odd jobs.
No longer able to ignore his true calling for music,
David began taking voice lessons and writing his own songs.
Prolific and passionate about his songwriting, David has
written more than eighty songs in only four years.
David
independently produces his music with Satellite Studios
in Montreal and he has completed his 6th full-length album (Secret Agent).
